Hello Poetry Lovers
Today we tackle a cinquain. I like to take on a form I normally struggle with.
This is about the house I grew up in. We sold it to a young couple in ‘69/70.
About 30 years later, the occupant spoke to my dad, and said that they’d been so happy there and never wanted to move!
And it showed, that house was gleaming! It was extraordinary how the love of a house shone through. Anyway, read on, it’s very short (obviously).

Now, PL’s, there’s a cinquain in all of us, home or otherwise, so please put them on a postcard and send to me at the usual address.
Thanks for tuning in, PL’s. We’ll be back with more poetry action real soon.

What a cheerful cinquain! 🏠 🥰
